Desktop Passport Photo Cutter

Product Description

A desktop passport photo cutter is a specialized tool designed for precisely cutting photographs to the standard sizes used for passports and other official identification documents. Key specifications include the cutting size, cutting thickness, and the overall dimensions and weight of the machine. Common cutting sizes include 35x45mm, 2x2 inches (50x50mm), and other passport and ID photo dimensions. The cutting thickness is typically specified as a range for paper or photo paper, often between 0.10-1.0mm.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of the specifications:
Cutting Size:
35x45mm: This is the standard passport photo size in many countries, including the UK and some others.
2x2 inches (50x50mm): This is the standard passport photo size in the US.
Other sizes: Some cutters can handle additional sizes like 25x35mm, 33x48mm, and others, often used for different types of identification cards.
Cutting Thickness:
0.10-1.0mm: This range covers common photo paper and cardstock thicknesses used for passport photos.
Machine Dimensions:
Compact:
Desktop passport photo cutters are designed to be relatively small and space-saving, often with dimensions around L170 x W90 x H175mm.
Weight:
They are also typically lightweight, often around 1.5kg, for easy portability.
Other important considerations:
Manual vs. Automatic: Some cutters are manual, requiring the user to manually operate a lever or handle to cut the photo. Others are automatic, using motors to feed and cut the photos.
Material: Desktop cutters are often made of durable materials like metal, ensuring longevity and stability during use.
Accuracy: The cutter should provide clean, precise cuts without damaging the photo.
When choosing a desktop passport photo cutter, consider the specific size requirements of the photos you need to produce, the volume of photos you'll be cutting, and the features that are most important for your needs.
