Heat Resistant Sublimation Tape

Product Description

Heat resistant sublimation tape is designed to withstand high temperatures during the sublimation process, typically up to 400°F (204°C) or higher, and is used to secure sublimation paper to various items during heat transfer. It's characterized by its ability to withstand high temperatures without melting or leaving residue and for its strong adhesion to keep the transfer paper in place.
Key specifications of heat resistant sublimation tape:
High Temperature Resistance:
The tape can withstand temperatures typically required for sublimation, ranging from 390°F to 480°F (200°C to 250°C) or even higher, depending on the specific tape.
Adhesive Type:
Sublimation tape uses a silicone-based adhesive that provides strong adhesion to various surfaces and is resistant to high temperatures.
Material:
The tape is often made of polyimide film, which provides insulation and resistance to stretching.
Residue-Free Removal:
High-quality sublimation tape is designed to be easily removed after the heat transfer process, leaving no sticky residue or damage to the substrate.
Width and Length:
Common widths include 10mm (0.4 inch) or 20mm (0.78 inch), and lengths are typically 33m (108ft) or 52ft per roll.
Color:
The tape is often available in colors like blue or tawny.
Applications:
Sublimation tape is widely used for securing sublimation paper to mugs, tumblers, t-shirts, and other items during the heat transfer process.
